Businesses in Malaysia today are plagued with rising costs of raw materials, a shrinking workforce and intensifying competition. To stay ahead of the curve they need to harness advanced technologies, such as robotic automation, as part of their business strategy — a critical success factor as the nation moves towards the fourth industrial revolution.

However, many business owners have preconceived notions that robots are complex, require high maintenance and are only used in large-scale productions. Fortunately, these notions no longer stand true.

Breakthroughs in technology have brought forth a new generation of industrial robots which are designed to work alongside humans. These collaborative robots — or cobots — have made it significantly easier and more affordable for small and medium-sized business owners to automate even the simplest of processes across a wide range of industries, and enjoy the resulting benefits. ……More at https://themalaysianreserve.com/2017/08/04/embracing-robotic-solutions

MALAYSIAN manufacturers are expecting a stronger business outlook for the second half of this year than the first half of 2017, with better local sales and exports, the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers said. The optimism comes from a stronger performance in the sector for the first six months of the year, compared to the corresponding period of 2016.

“The business outlook recorded an increase in index value by nine points; while local sales and exports increased by two points and 7.6 points respectively,” said FMM president Dr Lim Wee Chai.

Manufacturing sales were up 13.8%(RM247 billion) in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period last year (RM217 billion), according to the Statistics Department. More Source FMM Website : http://www.fmm.org.my
