Dear Esteemed Members,

It is with great pleasure and excitement, that I extend a warm welcome to each and every one of you to our website. As the newly appointed President of  the Malaysia Automation Technology Association, I am deeply honored to have the opportunity to serve and lead MATA.

First and foremost, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ir. Johnson Tan, representing Siemens Malaysia Sdn Bhd. With over 25 years of experience in the automation and instrumentation industry, I am deeply committed to driving positive change and advancement within our field, both in Malaysia and across the ASEAN region.

Automation technology holds immense potential to revolutionize industries, boost productivity, and spur economic growth. However, realising these benefits requires collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing on a global scale. At MATA, our primary objective is to facilitate constructive dialogue between industry players and government agencies, advocating for policies that support widespread adoption of automation technologies, especially among SMEs.

MATA are dedicated to serving as a catalyst for progress and development within the automation industry. We will continue our efforts in working closely with industry stakeholders, government agencies, and international partners to promote the adoption of automation technologies, drive digital transformation, and create a conducive ecosystem for innovation and growth.
